Digby's right about Kerry. Whatever else he might be, he is a decent man. I happened to be watching C-SPAN when he gave his statement in the Senate and couldn't help wondering what our country would be like if a person of his intelligence, heart, and life experience were in the WH, instead of the guy who's there, who's shown he has nothing comparable. Kennedy and Reid both followed up with heartfelt statements of their own, with Reid even concluding, "I love you, John Kerry." Yes, the usually unemotional Reid! And now to hear about this stupid drivel coming out of the media. Really, just when you think they can't get any more superficial and poisonous, they do.
