MA-Sen: Please Republicans, waste your money in Massachusetts

by kos
Fri Jan 26, 2007 at 07:52:03 AM PST

Republicans would likely run the Senate if, in their infinite arrogance and hubris, they hadn't spent millions trying to win unattainable seats in New Jersey, Michigan, and Maryland at the expense of endangered incumbents in Montana and Virginia.

Lucky for us, they appear willing -- heck, eager -- to make the same mistake again.

"Bay State Republicans are circling like vultures around a politically weakened John Kerry, vowing to field a strong challenger that may be able to capitalize on his fractured image and snatch his coveted U.S. Senate seat."

"Trashed image"? In their dreams. The GOP's biggest problem is that they believe their own hype. One botched joke and they think they can win in Massachusetts? Ha ha ha.

1. Go look at all the snarky Mash*le out today!
Does my heart good to see this. Thanks Beachmom. This is awesome.

Please, please, please Repub, please nominate someone and make them spend money on a useless race to unseat John Kerry. OMFG! That would be the funnest race ever!

2. RAVE REVIEWS! See, I am not the only one who sees this
in the local media. I am not crazy. Those posts I had in the other thread are weepy love notes, ah, well from, ah, you know, us repressed Puritan Irish stock who have trouble expressing our emotions.

Great timing (4+ / 0-)

For us that is. They announce this crap right after Kerry has gotten rave reviews for his comments, his emotion and his insight. This will just empower him even more and focus on the years ahead.

It's really no wonder the republic party is losing it's shirt.

before I clicked on it. I'm still chuckling.

Folks, this is nothing more than suicide prevention therapy for Mass Rethugs. All six of them.

5. This person references that McGrory column I had up
True, true, true!

There is no way (0 / 0)
Kerry can blow it. Seriously, no way. He may not be as beloved as Ted is but I'd be shocked if he got less than 65% of the vote. People here may not love his personality but they respect his politics. Here is a link to a column in the Globe today. FWIW this columnist has never liked Kerry and beat the crap out of him day in and day out through the last primary and general election. He is no fan by any stretch of the imagination.

Kerry can't blow it.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, and the dream shall never die." Ted Kennedy
