So CNN goes out of their way to debunk the Obama smear
Yet when it mattered the most, when lives were on the line, when the future of our country was in the balance, CNN punted on really scrutinizing the Swift Boat liars, and that was after the Kerry campaign had painstakingly sent them document after document after document disproving all the lies. And yet they continued to let the lies be aired by people who had not one shred of credibility left.

So, no, today, I am most certainly NOT in the mood to thank CNN for debunking the "small potato" lies (as BLM coined them) about Obama. Too little too late doesn't begin to describe my feelings about CNN.

3. i saw that, good for Obama. And, yes it angers me they did nothing but add to the SBV lies about JK.
This stuff makes me angry and sad. Gee, I guess Kerry was a golden press boy.
This is the unfair treatment that makes me cynical. They spent a lot of money and time on that report. Doing research and all. They spent about three minutes checking out the facts on Kerry's flubbed joke.

4. A debunk now isn't a debunk in 2008
They love to do this. They present one honest program so they can absolve themselves of responsibility when they let smear after smear go unanswered later. This is actually part of what happened in 2004. The media didn't run with the swiftboat shit early in the year, so when the 3rd attack came out, the campaign thought the media would run with their rebuttal like they had earlier. They didn't. Up until the end of August, Kerry was ahead in the polls. I will never understand what happened in August. All of a sudden there was gibber about no bounce and the campaign being in trouble, the Clinton people came in, the RNC Convention, and suddenly Bush was on top.

5. Why not think positive?
Maybe it's another signal of a changed attitude/ Do I really believe it?... I don't know, but it's a possibility. Also, they are very pissed at Fox, which cannot be a bad thing.
