Right Wing Blogosphere has now gotten THREE stories wrong
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/1/6/124947/6532

So, just to re-cap the week in Right-Wing Blogosphere Credibility:

* they suffered a complete humiliation on their Jamil Hussein "scandal"

* they are forced to retract their John Kerry "dining alone" story in Iraq

* there is a possible, pending humiliation over its Michael Ledeen "scoop" about the death of the Iranian leader

These are the people who have anointed themselves as the "citizen journalist watchdogs" over the "MSM," because the "MSM" is unreliable and only reports events in a way that promotes their political agenda. By contrast, the right-wing blogosphere is here to crusade for accuracy and agenda-free reporting.

Go to the link for details. The Iranian story is more embarrassing than the Leopold "Karl Rove Indicted" story, definitely. I'm really fed up with these bastids!!! They bashed Kerry nonstop for 2 weeks, got called on being dead wrong, and most still won't fess up. Glad to see the lib bloggers ridiculing them for the incompetent asses they really are.

4. Eric Boehlert now has a scathing indictment of the "warbloggers"
http://mediamatters.org/columns/200701090003

He focuses on the AP story. Great article, but I especially liked this at the end:

In the end, the Jamil Hussein fiasco simply highlights the dramatic fall from grace warbloggers have suffered over the last 24 months. Following Memogate in late 2004, when warbloggers helped drive CBS's Dan Rather off the air for botching a report on Bush and his days with the Texas Air National Guard, warbloggers, basking in the glow of mainstream media acclaim, had a real chance to grow the right-wing blogosphere into something influential and politically important. Instead, today it's an outpost of misplaced arrogance. Turns out warbloggers are one-hit wonders, the Stealers Wheel of cyberspace. ("Stuck in the Middle with You," 1973.) As Jane Hamsher recently noted, warbloggers don't get their facts right, they don't fundraise, and they don't organize. By contrast, liberal bloggers just pitched in and helped orchestrate the Democratic takeover of Congress. Warbloggers? They incessantly Google AP articles from Iraq in search of questionable sourcing in hopes of proving their Holy Grail theory that journalists -- "traitors" -- are conspiring with Iraqi insurgents to throw the war.

Glad to see Democrats are beginning to realize that we are superior to the Republicans on the blogs these days.
