After having read Dr. Funkenstein's post and Kerry's real FP vision, I'm reminded how little Obama can actually offer. And now he's going to come to my state and make a splash.

I am not bowled over with Obama simply because he doen't offer all that Kerry can.

He is a good speaker and it's really a lot of fun to go to these events. Try to just enjoy it without succumbing to all the '08 hype. Sen. Obama is a good guy and I think he will be a good Democrat going forward.

I saw him speak at Take Back America in the summer. He was good. (Tnough, in all honesty, I do not remember the speech very well. It was pleasant, I remember that much.)

4. Better than Hillary

Every time I see his face on my TV screen, I know it's there in place of Hillary's. Yeah!! And even if he were to somehow make it into the White House, well that'd be better than Hillary too. He and JK are about the only 2 Dems I'd fork over serious money to hear.
