What the heck is this? Humor?

I've been AWOL for a few days because I've been working retail holiday hours (nearly 24-7) but I had to pop in and ask if anyone else has seen this. Is this Andy Borowitz guy supposed to be funny?

Speaking to an audience of troops in Iraq today, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) raised eyebrows by revealing for the first time that his 2004 campaign for the U.S. presidency was "a botched joke."


"My stiff delivery, my wooden, robot-like hand gestures, were all an attempt on my part to be hilarious," Sen. Kerry told the troops. "In retrospect, I guess you had to be there."

For Mr. Kerry, a politician whose demeanor ranges from "dour" to "very dour," the news that his entire campaign was a botched joke came as a startling revelation.

Although in this case, I think it definitely fails the humor test :mad:

I have occasionally read his work in the hopes of being proven wrong, but everytime I am left scratching my head as to, why do any of these outlets even carry his work?

He must have some dirt on someone, to even get published.

3. Yeah , I saw it last night on my Yahoo,

John Kerry News Alert column on my email!! I was really pissed when I read it, but it was too late to get it on here (if I knew how)!! I'll tell ya, I think maybe I should take my daughters advice and take a computer course at the library!! I don't know what to make of it, let alone what anyone who isn't "politically savvy" Will they think this is for real???? Shit, I hope not!
