7. What a contrast to the poorly dressed McCain!

8. Heh, JK would look a whole lot better than McCain
even if he wore exactly the same thing.

(which he wouldn't, however)

9. That's true - he would look better and he wouldn't dress that way
Kerry looks like he is dressed the way he would be on an informal day in Boston. Is that how McCain dresses?

6. Yes, MH.
Godspeed, Senator.

The photos are great. Good to see him interacting with the troops.

10. Thanks for the pictures.
I'll be curious to see how his meeting with Maliki goes, presumeably tomorrow. Obviously, Bush's meeting with him went very badly. However, Kerry's been VERY critical of the Iraqi government, so I'm not sure how thrilled Maliki will be with Kerry either (to be fair, Kerry never named Maliki specifically, merely "squabbling politicians"). My opinion is that Maliki is just about less than worthless, but he's all we've got. But I think Maliki did like the regional conference idea, so they'll have some common ground there. I'll be interested in the reports on that meeting. I think it's just about morning there (is it 8 hours ahead?).

I was just about to post the link, for some reason it won't let me copy. Look who is doing the talking in the second pic.

Oh by the way here is a link to rate the pictures.

15. Yahoo does some weird thing
to their photos so you can't just copy them. I have to save them to my computer and then stick them in photobucket in order to post them.

Rated them up - so far, they're all 5-star! :-)

totally JK-centric, it made me happy to him there with Chris Dodd, who I think is a good man and a 100% grownup, like Kerry. There are few enough of those in government these days - though I'm thinking that Sestak makes the cut as well. ;-)

17. Agreed. That's why I included Dodd in a diary a couple of days ago
Dems doing good things should get recognition. Dodd and Kerry are #2 and #3 on the SFRC, respectively, so it's great that they're on the same page here.
