Hey did a higher percentage vote against Gonzales or Ashcroft
Are any of Bush's other cabinet officials like Condi and Gonzales?

42-58, I think. So Torture Boy got less opposition.

Landreau(sp?), Lebierman, Nelson (FL), Nelson (NE), Pryor and Salazar voted for the nominee. (Insert really, really big swear words here.)

Damn. On the other hand, they thought they would get betwen 25-30 votes agin him on Monday, they got 36. That is not nothing.

And some people say I should be grateful for the votes we did get .Sigh. I am grateful for the 36 but still, I would have liked a cleep sweep, a full slate of Dems opposing Torture Boy.

I am glad we got 36 too but yes a clean slate would have sent a message but I think this sent a nice one too.
