Oh, wait...

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!... (naysayers, that was directed at you). And no, I'm not drunk, just giddy.

Hats off, Kerrycrats, hats off.

4. You bet they were
I'm sure several chronic Kerry haters are VERY disappointed that they can't blame him for losing 2006 for us and thus assert that he has no chance in 2008. You can bet they'll still try it with Ford but if we win VA, MO, and MT, which is looking increasingly likely, it will be a moot point.

5. On a local Boston show
one of the (MA) republican guests commented that the Clintons couldn't wait to pin losses on Kerry so they could knock him out of the 2008 race. Seriously. He said exactly that.

6. ugh, that's disgusting,
really shows who cares about what is best for the country. and i heard Ford got an ok from Kerry on the condemnation of the troops joke because KErry knows Ford is in a REd state and if it helps him, well that's what matters right now .

9. Actually, I always thought he was
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 02:39 AM by whometense
kind of a dope. That comment might have changed my mind about him. His name is Joe Malone, and he's the former state treasurer.

One of the happier comments I heard (on local NPR) was from someone who was wondering if Mittens, as leader of the Governors' Assoc., might just have shot himself in the foot because of the poor performance of repule gov. candidates this year. It was his job to see they gpt elected.

10. Hehe! Take that naysayers! We effing told you so!
Hey 120 candidates supported by Senator Kerry. I wonder what the final tally will be? How many of the 120 got in. I'll bet the percentage is high.

Thank you once again, Senator Kerry!

12. Yay - Mccaskill stood up for Kerry this time
I am so happy - They just Interviewed Claire on MSNBC and they asked if Kerry's comments had affected the race, and she said that he botched a joke, which is worse than botching the war.

: )

Now I'm glad I spent most of the day canvassing. I didn't want to get my hopes up too much cause of how it all turned out in 2004 - I was depressed for a week after that

Meg in Missouri - I don't have to be ashamed of my state anymore! And Yes to Stem Cell Research and a raised min. wage.

13. now MSNBC talking about how stupid it was for Republicans to go after
Kerry on that and to think a flub would affect the race. of course it wasn't just the Republicans but the media whores who pushed it also. dumbasses, never wanting to admit they were wrong.

this shows one thing about voters. even in 2004 it wasn't the Mary Cheney is gay comment or Teresa's comments on Laura Bush and working and other non issues that affected the race. it was the Bin Laden video.

this time it was Iraq. as Shrum said bringing up Kerry's botched joke brought the issue of Iraq which was the area the Republicans were weak on.

people who are concerned about what is going on with the war in Iraq are going to turn around and vote for Republicans because Kerry messed up a joke ?

they really underestimate the intelligence of some people.

16. Hats off to JK! Now it's on to '08 and PRESIDENT Kerry.
His tireless energy in helping other Dems win across the nation, more than entitles JK's Prez endorsement, and National Leadership in '08... which is truly JK's destiny.

And in watching JK's recent appearance on Bill Maher, he was smiling and glowing so much while trying to avoid the '08 question. With so many Dem victories, power now...JK should go-for-it absolutely!
