If you add the remainder of the sentence it is obvious who he was speaking about. Sorry, but I don't think he needs to be beat up for omitting "us"and not correcting himself, when the target was clear, if the Repubs had quoted the whole sentence.

When I heard the clip that was on YouTube, I was not sure what he was talking about, but either way, there was nothing insulting to the military. Once you have the real text, and the media had it because it was distributed before hand and given to the media when the story started to hit the media, it was clear.

The only questions remaining are:
-why did the media continue to push a non story.
-why did Democrats seem to believe Kerry insulted the troops.

The GOP's reasons are obvious, but why did these two do the dirty job for them.

6. Speaking of Kerry press releases

I remember watching KO one night and that one guy , I can't think of his name he wears glasses and reports out of Washington. Well anyway, they were talking about JK and something about, why isn't this more known about. Well this guy says, well Kerry sends out press releases all the time and NOBODY pays attention to them.

So the answer to your media question is, they think he is a non-story because they don't give a hoot about what he does.
