I was debating whether to post this or not. I signed on with GOP.com awhile back just to keep an eye on them. This is their latest. So full of shit. Talk about anything but how they screwed up. What are they gonna do, send out a new one tomorrow now that they got their apology? I'm fuming right now! ************************************************************ Dear Jennifer,
(picture of Kerry, play to hear comments)
Listen closely this election season and you'll hear the truth about what Democrats represent.
Monday, failed Presidential candidate John Kerry brazenly insulted the brave American men and women serving in our military. At a campaign stop for Democrats in California, Kerry told students that "you know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't you get stuck in Iraq."
In Kerry's cocoon of privilege, those who serve in our military are failures who never did their homework or "made an effort to be smart."
Watch this video saluting the sacrifices of our troops and send it to 5 friends.
John Kerry is dead wrong. Our troops who put their lives on the line represent the very best of America. They strongly believe in the cause they're fighting for. Our troops deserve to be honored, not insulted by the likes of John Kerry.
Stand up and tell John Kerry to apologize to our men and women in uniform.
Of course, this wouldn't be the first time John Kerry insulted or demeaned American troops. Last year, Kerry told a CBS interviewer that "here is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children."
Will Democrats stand up and condemn these demeaning attacks by John Kerry? Or will they stay silent?
John Kerry's outrageous comments are a vivid reminder of why these elections matter. In six days, politicians who are as bad or worse than John Kerry could take control of Congress. In their unguarded moments they talk about impeachment, insult the President as a "liar" and a "loser," and say that "everything is on the table" when it comes to tax increases on all Americans.
Tell Kerry to apologize now. And do more than express your disappointment. Cast your vote early or on Election Day. Volunteer for the final 6 day sprint. Make phone calls to voters in key races. We need you now to keep the John Kerry Democrats out of power.
Sincerely,
Ken Mehlman Chairman, Republican National Committee
