NYT article on Kerry with Lamont

I couldn't find an article online, so I went to the paper copy. The Neocon Times has the story in an article titled "Kerrey supports Lieberman". So, a guy who left the Senate over 5 years ago and is the President of New School University is apparently more significant that the man who because of voter suppression was 60,000 votes from being President.

What's strange is that Kerrey sounds like he's closer to Kerry's position than Lieberman's.

and variations of it in the Hartford Courant on line. That is indeed very strange. I also thought the Kerr(e)y's were closer than any one of them were to Lieberman's positions on the war.

The NYTimes is deeply, deeply conflicted. On the one hand, it remembers that news used to be about telling the truth and it longs for that back. On the other hand, truth don't get you that interview with the 'hot' political people. Sigh! It's terrible to be a news slut these days.
