Kos on attack a Dem again (Harold Ford)
Front page. I mean you know it is a touchy subject and yes we may not agree with Harold Ford, but Kos again goes out of his way to demean him when this seat is an important win for us.

Kos assumes again, Ford was probably asked the question, and Kos should know that Tennessee is no California.

First of all, what New Jersey does is none of Ford's business.

Second of all, the NJ court didn't mandate gay marriage. It mandated equal protection under the law. How fucking awful! It's a disgrace! Equal rights? Pshaw! How dare the NJ Supreme Court refuse to allow discrimination?

Yeah, I want Ford to win. But I won't cry when he doesn't.

1. kos is crazy here - He supported Ford in the primary.

What was he expecting.

This is the pb with this guy (kos). He cannot stand for a principle, backs people without even looking at what they stand for and then is surprised when he disagrees.

Now is too late to ask questions.

The good thing is that he is losing his credibility with all that.

why is just focusing on the Democrat this close to the election? Allen and Romney threw their two cents in:

Aren't Kos and Aravosis former Republicans?

4. Can you guys do a favor and recommend these comments?

Somehow they seem to think lying about your own side in a pressure campaign is better than lying as a Republican. Oh...and we're the shameful ones here according to them.

5. It also shows that the whole funding thing was false outrage too
He "won't cry if Ford loses", but no one else can do enough to win 2006. What Ford says doesn't change things in NJ, which is more like MA than TN.

Ford can talk and say his opinions all he wants. It's like when they were bashing him for having an opinion on the democratic primary in CT. I didn't see them bash Barbara Boxer who actually went to Connecticut and campaigned for him.

7. Doesn't he also
have an ad promoting the Tennessee race? I may not agree with Ford on a good number of issues but he's the candidate that people chose. I just think this election is more about foreign affairs and economic issues instead of "values" or whatever either way. I do think Ford is the type of candidate to vote though for the issue if enough people want him to. More so than Corker who wouldn't even give a second thought to changing his mind.

6. So hard to figure out Kos
Most of the time Kos puts politics over principles.

Granted Ford is not someone I'd want for my Senator, but I think most of us would just keep out of the Tennessee race knowing that a Ford victory would be one more vote for Democratic control of the Senate. It's not like a more consistent liberal could win there. This time when its best to not worry so much about principles in a specific race for the greater good of control of the Senate is when Kos decides to mouth off about principle.

9. Right
And this would be the first democratic senator for Tennessee since Al Gore jr. He also would be the first black man to ever serve as a Senator in TN. There is a lot to disagree with Ford on as a Tn voter but also there is a lot to agree with him on such as to balance the budget, fix health care here in TN and to get out of Iraq. We may not agree on how to get out of Iraq but at least he wants to get out.

11. Ford endorsed Kerry way before 2004
he was one of the earliest people on Kerry's side . stayed with him through tough times and never gave up. he was always out there for Kerry in New Hampshire,Tennessee and other places. he also did media appearances for Kerry.
