2. Here's my report!

Hi Again Everyone,
We had the screening on Saturday nite, 18 people, all very interested. The best part for me was the phone message from John Kerry. Everyone agreed he was the best part of the evening, his talk was inspritational and he had us all thinking. After the video, we talked for hours about where our country was going and what we could do, as a grass root group to change it. Our group ranged in age from 60 to 35. The young people were so informed, it took me by surprise, who knew they were paying attention? We shared so much information, much of mine was from all of you, so again, thanks to the John Kerry Group! I think it was a learning experience for all of us. Talking points from JK, Howard Dean, Russ Feingold, Barbara Boxer, Dick Durbin, Al Gore and Paul Wellstone. All in all, it was very positive and I can tell you, these young people are ready and willing to make some changes in our country and more importantly, in our politics.
Some of us met again today, a casual coffee clutch but the hope is still there that we can make a difference, somehow. We're still talking, so that's a good thing! We have 3 copies of the video and they're being passed out to everyone we know. Watching John Kerry on Cspan last night, and the video, I really feel he is taking us to another investigation into the coruption that is in our government.
The threads by Ides of October have only added to my tin foil hat theory, of course, but I really am hoping that I'm right.
