Survivor 20 Ep 8 "Expectations"
Edited on Fri Apr-09-10 12:46 AM by lazarus
Sandra and Danielle finally got confessionals!

I was shocked by the vote, because I inadvertently got spoiled for this week, but it was wrong. Hooray!

If Russell and Parvati can pull off this scheme of making the Heroes think there's a Female Alliance, I will start to respect Russell a bit. Not much, but a bit.

Jerri can STFU with her regret for voting off Rob. Just infuriating.

I don't remember that IC in any previous season, but I haven't re-watched all the seasons in a while, so I may just be forgetting it.

I don't know why Russell decided to vote for Courtney and the other members of his alliance didn't. There's something going on there that we're not being shown. As usual.

On edit: I think I figured out why Russell voted for Courtney. He initialed his vote. So now he can tell Coach at FTC, "I didn't vote you out." That's the only thing that makes sense.

1. Hidden alliance
There's definitely something going on behind the scenes. Despite her testimonial, I did wonder if Sandra has a little hidden alliance going on with Russell. She's a savvy enough player that she wouldn't have put all her eggs into the RobFathah's basket. I still love how she insists she should be on the Heroes team, yet entices Courtney to side with her by saying "Want to get revenge on Coach?" lol Definitely love her, wish they'd show more of her, but I fear we're in for the Russell show for awhile.

2. I think you are right
I'm sure they are not showing all of Saundra's work. She is too smart to be putting herself in Russell's hands. I wish they would show more of her. She is my favorite remaining player. Though I enjoy the Russell show. the guy is entertaining. He is without doubt the best survivor in the history of the game, if only the show was only about surviving and did not require you to actually get votes at the end from the people you ousted. He is real good at ousting people, but not so good at winnign votes. I thought he might get better, but not so. My prediction is Russell goes to the end with Parv and PArv wins again, which is funny, because the only way PArv could have won again was by taking Russell to the end. I tip my hat to her for teaming up with someone she can beat.
