Survivor Gabon - Episode 9
So after the blindside of Marcus, the weak/old/slow/stupid or whatever term that the Kota alliance was planning to use to describe the group of players led by little Kenny, took it to the Kota alliance by securing Sugar's vote and ousted Charlie. this made me sad. I like Charlie quite a bit. He was a good player who seemed like a fun guy. He just made the same mistake MArcus did, not blowing enough smoke up Susie's ass to make her feel safe in their group. When you have a group of 3 or 4, one of you has to take teh move to be best friends with one of the others int eh group, so they feel they have someone. No one did this to Susie, so she left the group for good. All I can say is that Bob got lucky or else her was going to be axed Kenny would have thrown the challenge and opusted bob if there was no merge.

I will say it was fun to see Corinne's face. She was crazy to say what she said at teh golf challange. She is sealing her fate for an earlier eviction that Bob. Now it seems to be Randy, then her. Randy's idiocy toward Matty should have earned him an exit. Kenny is not a great player. He got lucky that everyone beleived him. Sugar should have insisted it be Randy and set herself up as a power player, but she did not.

One more thing, how bad are these losers at making fire. That was so pathetic. I'm glad Susie won. I mean someone should have learned ot use flint by now. It was 3-4 minuntes of TV before the fire got going, how long was it in real time.

Anyway, goodbye Charlie. It was fun while you were around. I can;t wait to see the "loser" tribe start to eat their own. Randy and Corinne need to start to play that up if they are to have a chance.

1. Nobag?
That's what they came up with for a tribe name? Really. I keep thinking No-bag which makes me think of "bag" as in an offensive word for a woman so I think it's a tribe with no old bags. LOL

I found what Randy said at tribal council to be offensive: GC and Crystal had their own "posse" and the other crap he said. He used to just be a crotchety old man now he is turning into a real ick. And Corinne, what a nasty person.

I guess I didn't catch what Corinne said at the gold challenge. Seems like someone is always talking or calling when I am watching Survivor. Pisses me off!

2. Nobag
I know, its terrible. Still, I thought Nobag was a funny name. Kenny is one of those geeks that I used to hang out with in High School. I miss those guys, hell, I am still one of those guys. Something that seems so funny to us, is annoying to others, which makes it more funny to me. I am really starting to like Kenny, which means he is the next to go.

Randy is a tool. His comments were clearly his latent racism bubbling up. Probst seemed to perk up when he said it. Probst loves it when that comes out. Now that Crystal won that battle, she will bring it to Randy this week. Good, he deserves it. should be fun to watch. I missed the "next time on survivor" clip, but I am sure she takes him up on his bullshit.

Corinne said something about MArcus having played well and deserving to be here longer than some others. When Probst asked for specifics as to who, she tried to back off, but it was clear she was talking about Sugar, Crystal and Kenny. She was done right there. NEVER mess with the people in power.

3. Randy is obnoxious
Edited on Fri Nov-14-08 12:29 PM by romana
I started out liking Randy a lot, but now I think he's an obnoxious blowhard who doesn't know when to shut up. I didn't think much of GC and I don't think much of Crystal, but Randy's response to her was full of racist code-words, like "posse." I hope neither Crystal or Randy gets much further in this game.

Kenny has come to life recently, but I can see it going right to his head and that's a recipe for disaster. He's going to try to demand too much, and claim he's running the show and the brains behind the outfit and it's going to blow up in his face. He fancies himself a charming liar, but I think Sugar has his number. She voted for Charlie because she feels more secure in Kenny and Crystal's alliance than she does with Corinne.

Corinne is another one whose head is too big. She thinks Sugar is a moron? Well after last night's vote, who's the moron now? She got played, and was overconfident. Her mistake at the golf challange was a huge mistake, and I loved watching Jeff watcher her dig her grave deeper by letting the exchange go on.

I think these next few weeks are going to be hilarious. Nobody likes each other this time around in any genuine sense of the word. Sugar seems like a genuinely nice person, but she's also determined not to play the game too dumb (after her Ace mistake). I expect good fireworks between Randy and Crystal next week.

All in all, I hope Matty, Sugar, or Bob take it. They seems like decent people and Bob is actually playing the game smart even though he was dealt a losing hand there for a bit.

6. Randy
He was set up to win this game. He lefta tribe and came to the other. He made the leap of gettign in with the new tribe, but he did not have to pile on the crap on his old tribe like he did. HAd he held back with the hate, when the merge happened, he really could have picked the power play. Instead, he is now out in the cold. If he can garner anger toward crystal, who has played poorly, he has a chance, but I doubt it. Sugar is the one I am pulling for. Her or Matty.
