LOST - I can't wait to see who dies

I just got into this show. My wife watched it and got me to watch the first few episodes this year. Then I bought my wife Season 1 on DVD for her birthday two weeks ago and we have spent almost every night catching up on last season. Now I am "dieing" to know who buys the farm tonight.

My money is on Hurley or Shannon, only because they are fringe main characters and add the least to the show. There is no way it can be Sawyer, Kate, Jack or Locke (though it would be cool if it was). I love Shannon (the eye-candy thing) and I love Hurley because he reminds me of a buddie, so I don't want either to go, but if it is a "main character" but not one of the big four I mentioned above, it has to be one of these two. They can't kill Michael until the Walt thing has run its course and they can't kill Sun or Jin while they are apart.

Anyway, I have really gotten into this show in the past few weeks. Anyone else here love it. also, if you think I am nuts or way off in my death prediction, let me know. Also, please don't post any spoiler info, I really like this show and want to be surprised when something happens.

I like this show too, it's not only drama with great characters, Mr. Ladyship says it's like a visual jigsaw puzzle, and we get only a few pieces at a time. Then when we think it's done, and we can identify the picture, someone blows away some of the pieces and we start again.
Hurley's not a fringe character in my estimation, he's a big part of everything. Whatever everything is! :-)


I read spoilers all the time and know who dies, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it's handled.

Word on the boards is that it may not have been her, that it's someone else, but I don't see any motivation, unless one of the tailers is a mole among the others and is trying to provoke them all. Boy I would not want to be that Latin woman right now, the look Sajid was giving her. They were also saying on forums that Sajid's gun was in the tent and someone else could have used it to shoot shannon. If she thought the 'others' were bad, they're going to be mary poppins compared to Sajid!

I can see him going through some unnecessary first class guilt for stopping when he saw Walt, he hesitated in fear and disbelief. And those whispers are just as freaky as this current administration.

4. Just got this from another board

One bit of good news out of tonights episode is that one of the Tailaways is a Clinical Psychologist. She's going to be very busy. The "Daddy issues" group therapy sessions for Jack and Locke are going to take forever! Not to mention addiction therapy , I killed the wrong guy therapy, they took my boy therapy and of course, "Hi I'm Kate" therapy.

6. hee.....did anyone notice BadWig Jack

in last night's episode - I thought Shannon's Father was the guy who died from the accident where jack met his wife, and last night confirmed it with the hospital scene.


all in all after two weeks off, this ep was very fulfilling.

My wife picked that up. I love how they are all connected.

Great episode. It just gets better each week. I was so pulling for it to be Jack or Sawyer, that would really shake up the show. Oh well, poor little rich girl has to die. She'll be back in all the flashbacks though.

9. Well, I'll miss the eye candy

And I was hoping for a hot sex scene after the "I love you" getting thrown around last night. On that note, I would not want ot be that spanish woman. Being on Sayed's bad side may be the worst placei n the world ot be. I'd rather face teh others than him on a bad day.

Shannon was useless other than looking good on the beach.

I also think the Spanish girl and kate are going to have soem friction over the alpha female role. jack of course, will have to break up the catfight, whilst sawyer plays one against the other.

His loves keep getting killed ...

That coupling (blonde rich American w/ Iraqi) was inspired--yowza! you talk of "eye candy"-- guess your a guy?-- but we women like a good torrid RELATIONSHIP and that one seemed quite believable to me somehow. The flashbacks gave her enough depth and complexity to be interesting.

No!!! Don't kill off Hurley, he's one of my faves--like a Buddha or something.

11. PS- got questions

I just have a tiny little tv screen so I miss a lot of detail.

What was that grave site with the crosses? Where the dog led them to? What was the names written on them? That wasn't Walt's was it, what would Walt be doing with a gravesite, I don't think they found his body, did they?

12. The graves

were of her brother and another Lostaway who got killed by the Udders.

Spoiler: The evil people in the jungle are actually Mad Cows. They're not "others", they're "udders". Just to let you know.
