1. Oooh...Soverign Class.
Methinks that Montgomery Scott had a hand in designing that ship (story-wise).
The real designers sure made it look like a souped-up version of the Enterprise Class, doesn't it?

3. Nope. Constitution class was the original Enterprise.
After the refit (Between the original series and the first six movies) they (the fictional Starfleet Corps of Engineers) decided that they'd changed the ship so much that from now on, the ships would be the Enterprise class.
Considering that the Enterprise was the only one of 13 Constitution class ships that made it back after it's 5-year mission, it's quite an honor.
Note: I'm basing this off of several books that may or may not be considered "canon" like "Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise", which simply proves that I know a lot more about Star Trek then I wish I did. :) And I could be wrong, too.

9. Scott helped design the U.S.S. Excelsior (Search for Spock)
Enterprise-B was an Excelsior class ship.

10. OMG!!! We've stumbled upon the Republican's home planet !!!
Kirk: "Fuck the prime directive, arm the god-damned photon torpedos!"

Lt. Ripley: "Nuke the planet from space. It's the only way to be sure."

Spock: "If I may Captain, we do have the Genesis device, by which we could transform this festering rat's nest into a progressive lefty paradise."

Weapons control officer Skinner: "Let freedom reign."

:)
