1. I really liked that show!
too bad it only went one season.
It kind of reminded me of Starship Troopers - the book, not the movie.

2. I remember it ending on a rather nasty cliffhanger.
I think everyone was lost in action or some such but with the possibility of survival. It was a good show that went deep into moral issues.

5. Very cool, but..
...I don't suppose you could be more specific with an URL? I just spent way too much time looking through pages with the search parameters you gave. No joy. :(

11. The final episode is a real kicker, nice twist too...
..totally left it open for continuation of the series, it looked as though things were going to get real messy.

I would like to have seen how the Military moved from place to place in space, how there ships worked and how we got to Tellius.

13. IIRC they used large carrier ships
sort of like aircraft carriers in space, but they never got into the details of how they worked.

I also remember one of the carriers was named the USS Colin Powell.

10. I remember Lee Ermey as, well, lee Ermey.
Not much after that first episode or two that featured him. I gave up on the show after half a season or so, as i did with Voyager.

There are a few great YouTube clips out there:
