I need help with title of an SF novel I read about 6 years ago.

It had to do with a near future in which corporations ruled everything (imagine that), and a group of people went to Australia to do something like a reality show. Australia had been almost completely depopulated due to an epidemic, which had killed off all but a few immune people.

I thought it was a pretty good book. Anybody know the title of this?
