Atheism: Is it real?
Apparently, the way a theist should argue with an atheist is simply to quote the Bible to them. Mainly the NT, but also the OT. I gather that the Koran won't work.

4. Complete with the usual, eminently logical Xian consistency...

Up near the top:

...inform professed “atheists” that they already know God is there, God knows that they know, and He’s holding them accountable.

A little further down:

So, here’s the deal: They know God is there, and He knows they know. And He’s holding them accountable.

But down in the section aimed at ex-Xians:

God’s waiting for you to come back. He’s not mad or angry with you. Let’s don’t kid ourselves, there will always be someone who will try to convince us that God is angry with us, and at times we will think that. But the truth is that God keeps no record of wrongs of His children.

"God keeps no record?" WTF? That seems to violate the tenets of...oh, just about every Xian denomination I ever heard of. I guess it's good news for Catholics, though - no need for that whole "Confession" thing anymore.

Just check out this video clip, PROVING Heaven keeps records! WARNING: this is from the 1934 movie "Wonder Bar," and is a virtual catalog of the ugly racist stereotypes that good ol' liberal Hollywood was dishing out at the time. Complete with Al Jolson in blackface. Reading a Hebrew newspaper. Oy vey, y'all!

5. Most Xians that I know believe that God keeps records
only for non-Xians. I was told that in Sunday School, too. I can't imagine why God would bother with detailed accounts, since everyone who isn't Xian gets the same eternity in hell no matter what, but that's beside the point. Xians get their records expunged, and don't accumulate any more either, when they become Xians. That's consistent with what is quoted above - as long as one believes that only Xians are God's children.

I think it's funny as hell, by the way, that some Xians believe that atheists reject belief in their God because we "don't want to be held accountable for sins" when the whole point of being Xian in the first place is to get out of being held accountable for sins.

6. That's one whacked-out posting . . .
You know that when you have to go to the whiteboard to diagram an argument that just doesn't make sense, that you're in the presence of a religious crackpot.
