Jesusspeak...that is those terms Christians use (and often don't mean what they mean)
I always hear Christians saying "Let's look at the scripture...Scripture tells us...etc"

Now if you look up the word 'scripture' you get a slightly different meaning. The Christian uses the term "scripture" to mean "the christian bible." But that's not the meaning of the word - it really means any religious text. The Quran is scripture, the Bhagavad Givta is scripture, and the Nag Hammadi library is scripture. But call those scripture in front of a Christian, and they'll be quick to correct you "Um, those aren't scripture, those are blasphemy."

So what other words are there? My favorite is "Witness" or "give testimony." This is entirely inaccurate because the Christian didn't "witness" anything. They read their bible, prayed (read: spoke to invisible friend) and then told people that story. Often they throw in stories of them before they did this task, which were often self destructive narratives. They also fabricate a lot of it (see: Mike Waranke) They also throw in a lot of hallucinatory bullshit.

Then there's "Worldly." This has a totally different meaning to Christians than it does to us. For them the world is "EVIL" and run by "SATAN." They will often say they are "not of this world." Yet that's complete bullshit. They were conceived here, born here, lived here, and unless they were astronauts at some time, they have always been here. On the planet Earth. The world. I also find it funny that God creates the world, and then leaves it in the hands of Satan. So did god create evil? If so, why?

And this is usually where the Christians start to become infuriating. They have this Augustinian ideal of what a "Godly state" should look like, yet it would be impossible and downright fascist.

1. It's a lot like Scientology, isn't it?
There's a whole hidden vocabulary there that outsiders are not privy to.
