Are these downloads of "In God We Trust" safe for my PC?
http://www.freshwap.net/207/dl/In+God+we+trust+++Marty+Feldman

In God We Trust was Marty Feldman's comedy about a Trappist monk set loose in Hollywood. I cannot find the film at Blockbuster, Netflix, or in the library. So I found these "torrent" downloads that look free. Are they "kosher"?

1. in short, no
that doesn't stop me, if its something that is difficult/impossible to find elsewhere. If you can't find it anywhere else, I think you're done your due diligence. The law wouldn't see it this way, more than likely, but you can feel personally soothed

2. Did you see if your library does interlibrary loan?
Our library has a pretty broad range they can get from. College libraries usually have even more institutions that will lend.

5. I wonder if I can download it thru "torrent" somewhere that I won't risk my PC
to a worm, virus, trojan, etc.

10. films are pretty sanitary
not always, of course, especially if they're zipped, but usually an avi or wmv is kosher. go somewhere like thepiratebay.org which tends to be well-policed

8. Is there a library network of some kind?
Or would I have to check libraries individually for things? Just curious how you are searching.

9. Different libraries belong to different networks.
The media center at the high school I teach at gets stuff from all over when I need it.

6. Found it on Ebay.

Let me know if you don't want it because I would put in a bid (got me interested as I was looking for it for you--I checked all the Wisconsin libraries to no avail).

7. No bidding war by me, go get it.
I have never bought anything in an ebay auction. IIRC, the movie never made it to DVD.

I am going to be up your way in May
