Friday Fun Post: Heidi Montag Goes 'Christian' In Iraq
I wanted to lighten things up a little since it's Friday and we tend to be too serious sometimes at DU (for good reason).

Do you think it's hypocritical or strange that someone professing to be a Christian (to the point where they plan to create a Christian album and will presumably hit up the religious shows to promote it) would take every opportunity to be photographed in a skimpy bikini (with a boob job to boot)?

Don't get me wrong, *I* personally don't care and I happen to enjoy women with nice bodies wearing bikinis but I do think it's kinda funny.

At any rate, here is discussing this which includes some PG-13 photos (no nudity, don't worry, but if you work at a Christian bookstore I'd probably would wait to watch it at home). ;)

1. Until 10 minutes ago I didn't know who Heidi Montag was.
Now I kinda wish I could erase all knowledge of her.

Just most of it.

But if I was a woman or not into women, then yes, I would agree.

:)

3. I clicked on this related video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQkucM6LvqQ&feature=related

I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing so I skipped about three minutes into it. Heidi explains that she really appreciates all the comments about her new video because it's really takes a lot of effort to post a comment on youtube. Oh, yeah, and that she's praying for all the posters. :eyes:

But I digress. My feeling is that while Jeebus may disapprove of her getting new boobies because she didn't like the one's he gave her, he'll overlook that since she's a Republican. Besides she'll use them to promote his message of love and killing brown heathens in Iraq.

BTW, when she dies and goes to heaven, do the silicone ta tas go to heaven too?

5. It's an important consideration for the Rapture - what happerns to fillings,
pacemakers, the food in your mouth, food in your stomach, even - um - matter further down the intestinal tract?

The Rapture is going to be a little messy. Just like them to leave a mess behind for other to clean up.

For the video - "Spencer Pratt" - you'd think he'd have changed him name for professional reasons, rather than drawing attention to his limitations.

6. She must have had twit implants, too...
I'd never heard of Montag either, but it sounds like I was in Egypt while she was climbing the greasy pole of stardom. No doubt while hundreds of talent agents queued up to stick dollar bills in her...thong.

Her Wikipedia entry reads like an Onion parody of a vacuous, self-absorbed, empty-headed Hollywood twit.

She has expressed a desire to have appearances in "some movies" in addition to "a couple of hit albums".

Montag danced as a child, thus reportedly plans to do "a lot of performing" in connection with the album. Additionally, she indicates that a lot of her songs "will be very sexual." She has released some singles which have not been very successful...

After months of speculation and rumors, Montag admitted to undergoing a breast augmentation and rhinoplasty in April 2007...

In an April 2008 interview, Montag stated that she is a Republican and that she plans to vote for John McCain in the 2008 presidential election.

Although not registered to vote when making that statement, she said that this was because she had been too busy and that she planned to register soon.

Montag got her start on The Hills. I strongly recommend that her first BIG movie role be in The Hills Have Eyes: The Documentary.
