Jesus pays visit to Florida!! (Beware: some here might convert)
http://www.local6.com/firstnews/15875360/detail.html

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An unexplained image in a hospital prayer garden window moved some people to tears and drew groups of people to a hallway before vanishing, according to witnesses.

A crowd inside the Florida Hospital Medical Complex in Orlando snapped photos of the image apparently showing the profile of Jesus Christ crying.
"There was just a whole bunch of people putting their cell phones to the window, so I went over there and I saw a glow," witness Joel Cruzada said. "When you are standing there and there is a flurry of people talking about it, you are like, 'Wow, I'm actually here.'"

"This was just a sign for me to not worry about what is going on in my life and that everything else is under control," Cruzada said. "It was an enlightening experience."

1. Umm, I gotta say, that's one fierce looking Jesus head.

I can't see what they mean by "the profile of Jesus Christ crying" yet. Can anyone else?

I make the shapes come much too close
I pull my eyes out
hold my breath
and wait until i shake...

but if I had your faith
then I could make it safe and clean
if only I was sure
that my head on the door was a dream

11. From "I Was A Teen-Age Jesus"

That was the Hollywood nickname for the 1961 remake of King Of Kings, starring Hunter.

More worthless trivia from my alleged mind...

Hunter suffered from the dreaded Curse Of Hollywood Jesus, as did the star of the original 1927 KoK, H.B. Warner. It seems that once an actor has played Da Man From Galilee, casting agents are loath to hire him in lesser parts for fear of appearing blasphemous.

The Curse apparently still works. Take a look at the career of Jim Caviezel, before and after Passion of the What's-His-Name in 2004.

16. That's one of my all-time faves!
The Greatest Story Ever $old. Can't be beat when I need my fix of Recreational Xianity.

What a Spot-The-Star exercise. With Telly Savalas as Pontius Pilate! The Man From UNCLE as Judas Iscariot! Pat Boone! And John Wayne as a Roman centurion with only one line, looking as wooden as that thing ol' Jesus is hanging from.

That movie has a lot of its own interesting trivia. After hiring all those "stars," the studio couldn't afford to film in the real Holy Land. So they took the next best thing, the land that has probably spawned more crackpot Messiahs and religious cults than even Jerusalem--the deserts of Southern California. The lowest-paid crew members had the fun job of checking the set for rattlesnakes every morning.

I think that flick even had its own Jesus Curse. As Wikipedia notes: Despite the awards, The Greatest Story Ever Told was director George Stevens' first flop. It cost an estimated $20,000,000 but made back only $12,000,000 worldwide. It was the last of the big budget Biblical spectacular films, and no film about Christ would be successful at the box office until The Passion of The Christ in 2004.

Point taken about the fine actor Max von Sydow. But he was a furriner who worked a lot outside of Hollywood. Or as they would probably say over in R/T, he wasn't a REAL Hollywood Jesus.

14. We are so cued to see faces everywhere.
No surprise that those who are drawn to belief in Jesus will see "his" face, especially, everywhere. (Or what white America thinks his face looked like, anyway...)
