Oh joy. The Pope is coming to my city in 10 days.
Can I say I'm already sick of the coverage? Its gonna get worse. I listened to some idiot talking about how happy their Jesus statue is gonna be hung behind the Pope at the new baseball stadium!
Wow! It will be in the same air the Pope breathes...:puke:
Just glad I don't have to be in DC those three days. Those considering it will tie up already bad traffic here, I expect there will be extra cursing going on in his name....

6. Aw Common
Enjoy it! I had a great time in San Francisco when the pope visited in the 90s. My friends and I started a rumor that a catholic girl cant get pregnant if the pope waves at her.

I still regret not buying a pope soap on a rope. I swear to god, pope soap and it was on a rope! Why oh why don't I have that now!

Of course bad as he was he didn't have that Nazi thing... or the completely evil, sunken eyed face. Though that might help the lather.

7. I think I remember hearing that
but haven't listened to much news lately. Maybe my parents will go curse him to all the emotional suffering his organization caused them growing up, though I think after 40 years the resentment has diminished somewhat.

Now that I say that, we were watching my grandmother's home movies of my aunt's first communion years ago and when my dad (about 60 at the time) and my uncle (early 50's) saw it they yelled in horror "It's sister Clementine!" and literally ran out of the house screaming.
