Spirit work for New Orleans and other areas affected by Katrina

There's a prayer thread in the Lounge for DUers who are missing/unaccounted for, and it made me wonder if anyone here is doing any spellwork. I plan on doing a ritual of protection for New Orleans in particular, there is a very active magickal community down there and they probably need all the help they can get just to survive.

I have been saying general prayers to the Loa. No one in particular, although the goddess of Huricanes should be invoked, but I can't think of her name off the top of my head.

On edit: Her name is Oya, I think. At least 'google' thinks it is. :)

My circle is pooling together to buy supplies for the NOLA evacuees who arrived in DC today.
