Using numerology to choose your Craft name
Many Pagans opt to adopt a Craft name once they have chosen to become part of the Pagan religion. Be it Wicca, Asatru, Druidism, etc. most choose a name other than their given name to use in association with their religion. There are many ways to come up with this "new" name, numerology being one of them.

The most basic definition of numerology is the study of the hidden meanings of numbers and their influence on human life. Many Pagans believe that names chosen through numerology resonant on a more spiritual and magical level with the individual than just choosing a name out of thin air. To begin the selection process of a Craft name through numerology, one's birth number must be calculated.
