Just saw this on the Yahoo page. From Reuters, a new Gallup poll showing Hillary ahead of Barack and both losing to McCain. Yikes!

It's beginning to appear that the Dems. destroying each other may be having some spreading impact. We need a hero on a white steed from Tenn. to ride to our rescue.

1. This is exactly what I've been worried about.

I think it will get worse as time goes on. The only good thing about this is that it will lead more people to give Gore a second look.

2. I'm glad to be out of the GDP section to discuss this! If anything

has been learned it's that negative campaigning does not attract voters. Maybe it's just me, I'm brand new here, but I think Gore and Obama would be well aligned in policies and their political modes. I just hope, should this alliance come to be, that they aren't too intellectual and lose the general public. Gore would wipe McCain off the map!

I'm going to start looking to see what Al Gore is actually doing (if anything political) these days...other than talking with Obama.
