Lackland captain gets jail for indecent acts

A captain at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, was convicted Monday in military court-martial of committing indecent acts with two children, the base announced Thursday.

Capt. Edward Hudson was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in prison, forfeitures of all pay and allowances and dismissal from the Air Force, according to a base press release.

Hudson was placed in local military confinement following sentencing and will be transferred to a long-term military correction facility, the release said.

No further information was immediately available.
