RIVER GROVE, Ill. (AP) ― A 20-year-old soldier with the Illinois Army National Guard died this week while driving an ambulance in Kuwait, a relative said.
Ashley Sietsema died on the scene Monday after the ambulance rolled and hit a light pole, Sietsema's mother-in-law, Maureen Deahl, told the Chicago Tribune.
"They were transporting someone, and as far as we know it was just a traffic accident," Deahl said.
