HONOLULU — An Army helicopter made an unscheduled landing Monday afternoon at Kapiolani Park in Honolulu.

An Army spokesman says the pilots aboard the UH-60 Black Hawk from Schofield Barracks set the chopper down during a routine training flight when a warning light indicated a possible malfunction.

Spokesman Loran Doane says the community was in no danger at any time.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Army mechanics were called to the park as police assisted in securing the area.
