Marine dies in non-combat incident in Iraq

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military says a U.S. Marine has died in a non-combat incident in western Iraq.

The military says the Marine died Sunday at Asad Air Base but provides no further details.

In a statement Monday, the military said the incident is being investigated.

The Marine’s name was not released pending notification of kin.
