My disability claim has been approved. It was for my years as an

O5H20, morse intercept. I am being compensated at 10% for Bilateral Tinnitus, 0% for Bilateral hearing loss. I really thought I would be denied because I had little evidence beyond military records and testimonials for fellow morse intercept veterans.

I think it wasn't the evidence I presented as much as the throngs of old ditty boppers with hearing loss.

I will get a bit of cash per month, not much, but it will pay my utility bills.

Any info on how I go from here will be appreciated.

1. Find Your Local Vet Center. These people are nothing but help to Vets!

2. I am already on SSI. I wonder if I have to tell them about this change. I

know I will have to contact the VA about my changed status.

I know right where the Vet Center is located. I'm going to have to give them a call.

3. Vets can be on SS Disability and Veterans Disability at the same time.

Vet Centers will have all the answers.
