Veterans Administration Cemeteries have Avenue of the flags this week. |

Burial flags donated by the families of our fallen line the entrances to the cemeteries. it is a touching experience.

family history and it will shock you to know that even small grave yards in the middle of woods will have a flag on a grave of a vet. I know as I found a new flag on one of my family that was in the Rev. war and this was not an easy grave yard to find. These little family grave yards are interesting. Some of the cemeteries also. Life has long ago passed them by, so they end up on back dirt roads where once it was a center of where a lot of people lived. You still find the flags. It is a hard job for these vets groups to get out and hit all these places.
