110 Lewis soldiers to return Saturday

About 110 soldiers from the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, will return Saturday to Fort Lewis, Wash., after serving in Iraq, according to a press release.

The soldiers make up the brigade’s advance party. The rest of the brigade is scheduled to begin arriving home in June.

The brigade is one of five brigades sent to Iraq during last year’s surge. The last of the five brigades is expected to return this summer.
