Ex-submariner gets jail time in underage sex

NEW LONDON, Conn. — A former Navy submariner has been sentenced to 4½ years in prison for having sexual contact with four Waterford teenage girls.

Prosecutors say Christopher A. Green, 23, met the girls through the Internet, got them drunk and took advantage of them.

Green, who was sentenced Wednesday, had pleaded guilty to two counts of risk of injury to a minor last month.

Green was arrested in 2006 after he met a 15-year-old girl through a Myspace.com account and sexually assaulted her.

After he was arrested in that case and out on bond, police said he linked up with three of the first victim’s friends in a hotel room, gave them liquor and had sexual contact with them.
