Evangelism in the Air Force

The Air Force, more than any other service, has endured a contentious debate over when and where evangelism is appropriate.

Have evangelistic leaders ever made you uncomfortable or, in your opinion, denied your promotion or desired assignment for religious reasons?

Do you feel political correctness has impeded airmen's right to share their beliefs?

1. this is such a strange turn in the U.S.A.F.

I left active duty in '72 - but remained in reserves until '90 or so. I never did see any movement in this direction during that period.

So it is a relatively new movement - within the past 15 years or so.

2. I retired from AD in 83. If it were around, I didn't see it.

Very strange and unsettling indeed.
