1. Girl, don't even get me started. I've gotten about 4 PMs about it

Every single one from a black poster INFURIATED by this BS.

So lets recap, there are people on this site who attack other posters constantly, forever diss the mods and admins, Obama, the Democratic party, the Black community, Hispanics, Muslims, religion etc. etc. etc. and they get to stay.

Hamden dogs the most ignorant assholes on this site, and HE gets tombstoned. I think he took alot of things too far, but overall I'm proud of his contribution to this site and plan to pick up where my brother left off, fuck this isht.

I got a PM to his post about the baby seals and it was sarcastic and not even funny, but it damn sure wasn't worth being tombstoned over. Not when so much worse is allowed here DAILY.

But I will say that I don't know what he was doing over at the GLBT forum challenging folks...
if he was.... which is what I read on the grave dancing thread. That was a big no-no, IMO.
But I didn't read what he wrote over there, so I don't know anymore than that.

but he wouldn't listen. I think he could just not stand to let some of the stuff that gets posted there go unchallenged. Why he felt it was worth the effort and trouble, I will never understand. But the mods handed him his ass and banned him from posting there, just as they have handed some of the posters in that forum their asses and banned them from participating in AAIG.

Hamden was a pain in the ass but I have no doubt that he was also a very convenient scapegoat for alot of crap that goes on around here. He'll be fine either way, though.

Edit: And that thread doesn't seem to have gotten nearly as many recs as OMC's got. I swear when OMC got the granite cookie, that thread got 120 rec's in half an hour. Surviving too many probations made Hamden obviously think that he was above the law 'round these parts.

Didn't know much about OMC but I knew that he was about as beloved as a root canal around here. But like I posted in his gravedancing thread a few weeks ago, he was BY NO MEANS the only or even the biggest asshole around here. That imdjh character had serious racial issues. If the mods are starting to think about cracking down on racism as much as they crack down on other things here, they better be prepared to be MIGHTY busy.

OMC was years overdue, in my opinion, and as Brewman says, imdjh has major racial issues. OMC thought himself the arbiter of what was racist and what wasn't, among his many other conceits.

I'm sorry to see Hamden gone, but I'm not too surprised, as he was warned. I will miss much of what he had to say, though I didn't agree on all.

Sneering is the single word that comes to mind when I think of his posts, and I speak from experience in the GLBT forum, from whence he was already banned some time ago.

This was not a guy that liked to play well with others, nor an effective contrarian. The anger he stirred up in GLBT was because he was an insensitive dick.
