How nice...
I just love the posts that tell groups how they should think or feel, then proceed to discuss how the group feels, without the benefit or any actual representatives of the group sharing their views on the issue.

When someone does share something that they feel strongly about, everyone tells them they shouldn't feel that way--or they are wrong to feel what they feel. :eyes:

I've seen it done to feminist women, glbt, African Americans, to immigrants and to Jews. Wouldn't it be nice to be a member of a board that actually ASKED what you thought as opposed to posting dumb articles that think they know what's best for you?

1. Oh, but you know, you're suppose to have the same opinions of all
others in your race, ethnicity and any other group that you identify with. Don't you know that all feminist articles define exactly how I personally believe? And, as a Christian, I obviously agree with all Christians. :eyes:

Ok, deep sigh... it really get's tiring, doesn't it?

2. Indeed it does...
As a (allegedly) progressive board, I thought there would be more exchanges of ideas, people actually interested in learning how to challenge their belief system.

What the hell was I thinking? :P

5. Ah yes, that is a gem ...
One of my other personal faves is also,"...I don't see color...I don't care if people are blue, green, brown or yellow."

In addition to, "...I don't have a racist bone in my body." :eyes:

I know when I hear any of the above phrases or variation of them EXACTLY who and what I'm dealing with.
