not using the "vile N-word" in thread OP titles, defiling the DU eyestream?

I was going to suggest that you limit quoting such evilness to the body of the OP-- until I read your post:

SO WHY IN GOD'S NAME WOULD YOU?

Emotions are very raw right now. The nation's heart has been ripped out. We have ONE LAST CHANCE to reclaim the nation for the people. This is the WAKE UP CALL.

We have fellow DUers who have to deal with occasional bigotry here on a good day. They already know that some DUers don't "get it." They know that some DUers don't comprehend the blatant racism in the New Orleans (no word for this level of tragedy)-- some folks want to overanalyze and miss what's right in their faces.

What's in our faces is that this IS racism and this IS A TEST of our response to a sub-group of FELLOW CITIZENS to this malign neglect and obscene abuse. Next time it might be you or you or you.

Your use of the word was unecessary and UNBELIEVABLY insensitve.
