Ned Lamont also Endorses Another Candidate
I had heard reports that Ned Lamont would back Obama. Sure enough, it was true.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/1/10/184519/630/624/434646

Seems as though he decided to go with Kos on this one.

I'm very disappointed, considering JRE was the first to call Ned, congratulate him, and campaign for him.

1. Now that certainly is a stab in the back. I'm also disappointed in Ned Lamont.
Besides John Edwards, Ned Lamont's was the only other campaign I'd ever donated to.

2. Unbelievable, just unbelievable.
John Edwards held a rally for him in New Haven. Where were the others to give Lamont face time???

I'm really disappointed.

3. No fucking where!!!!!
John Edwards was one of the few Democrats who gave Lamont more than lackluster support after he beat LIEberman. :grr:

5. Yet Obama criss-crossed the country for Democrats
Yet he couldn't stop here in Connecticut for a rally, a fundraiser ... or something like that?

His ties with LIARman go back though, and I'm sure he didn't want to "offend" LIARman.

Especially at how important it was that Lamont beat the crap out of LIARman. We needed all the face time we could get.

Ugh ...

4. All As Much as We are Disappointed
We need to keep the good vibes out there for JRE.

As Blutto (from Animal House) would say: LET'S DO IT!

21. No, we did not!
As soon as word reached the White House that Pearle Harbor had been attacked by Germany, President Franklin D. Bush lifted his gaze from the pages of My Dead Goat and stared off thru the windows of the oval office. After about a 10-minute, mute trance, he directed the defense secretary to draw up plans to attack South Africa. :dunce:

12. I expected better from Lamont, but he may be part of the problem, instead of part
of the solution.

John Edwards is part of the solution. And that's where I want to be.

15. Agree with many here in their comments. This is extraordinarily bad form from
Ned Lamont.

Senator Obama campaigned for his opponent, Joe Lieberman, and John Edwards stuck his neck out and showed up for Ned.

Very disappointing display of disloyalty by Ned Lamont.

nothing to many people these days.

18. Oh good, I'm not alone then :)
This just may keep my donation dollars in Virginia from now on. I try and send small amounts to good Dems in other states, but the Lamont betrayal may have ended that.

20. I hope you will tell Lamont exactly that!
Good point, and they need to hear this.

I'm sorry that you feel bitten..... I"m really depressed about the state of the "democratic" party!
