I've been out of the DU loop lately - where does former Senator Edwards stand in the latest polls?
My apologies, Folks - my new job, the death of my father-in-law and the holidays have kept me pretty busy.

The polls show a a different candidate in the lead every day. I'm getting E-mails from the Edwards campaign, but haven't had time to read all of them.

Does anyone have the latest polling info? Has former Senator Edwards moved up past Senators Clinton and Obama?

1. Still pretty close
Too close to call. The DMR had JRE at third, but the polling is suspect.

2. Thanks - Any word from Edwards supporters on the ground in Iowa?
It certainly seems as if the Senator's campaign has picked up momentum within these last couple of weeks. Judging from the E-mails I've received, morale is excellent!

3. At least one MSM "expert" and one reliable blogger predicts an Edwards win.
The polls are are all over the place and should be ignored if don't want to lose your mind this week.

I'm close to avoiding DU until Iowa has been called. The professional candidate bashers are working overtime.

4. Boy isn't that the truth!
:banghead: After all the corporate scandel...War Profiteers. Corporations moving overseas in droves, dollar dropping in value, Jobs loss, industry loss...JRE is the ONLY candidate who is standing up against this....

5. Isn't it interesting
To see these "bashers" froth about Edwards and offer little to nothing truly substantive about whoever it is they're supporting.
It might be that they're afraid to list much in the way of specifics about their chosen for fear we'd dissect it as many have already done. Given that nothing stands up to the "truth to power" that John's talking.
Too, the futile scratchings they try to scrape together as evidence of past mistakes or insincerety on Edwards part. How does that line go???...... Let the one without fault cast the first stone. (?) Hell, I'd run for our local congressional seat except that in a heartbeat, they'd dig dirt about my personal past and I wouldn't DO that to those that would be dragged into the spotlight with me. John's doing what (idealistically) I would do if I were running. Consequently I'll send him some bucks and let him change things for the better.
