http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chase-martyn/new-report-edwards-on-to_b_73119.html

The Iowa Independent is calculating the Iowa caucuses on January 3rd with a nod to organizational strength and second-choice appeal, which is essential for "second-tier" candidacies on caucus night.

Which appears to bode well for the Carolinian and which makes the Iowa race almost impossible to predict scientifically.

This survey also acknowledges Joe Biden's rise this fall.

1. Another reason to "party".....I am dusty off my boogie shoes and take them to the
streets for Edwards.

Keep on, keeping on John.

2. Hi, Ninga. Yep. I think he's still very much in the thick of this nomination

race.

His support does not register in the high numbers HClinton gets nationally, but in Iowa he remains strong at first choice level -- very competitive -- and extremely competitive as a second choice of the supporters whose first choice might be Dodd or Richardson, etc.

Which could augur well for him on caucus night, now only 46 days away.

4. I fully understand and appreciate your expression of anxious anticipation. This
stands a chance of being one of the most course alerting elections in our lifetime.

Savor and enjoy this as you would a fine wine, or a magnificent, perfect day.

Running a political race is like standing on the deck of a sail boat, in the midst of a hurricane......winds whipping and torrential down pour pelting. If Edwards has his feet planted well, and is grounded in the pitching and heaving of the political storm, then he will prevail.

As in most things life.....it is not what happens....but how you deal with it...

Let us watch with great pride, as Edwards deals with what is being thrown his way.

11. I'm with Ninga in seeing why you'd feel that way. I think a lot of us are in
that boat.

What a potentially cliff-hanging contest Iowa is turning out to be.

8. Hi, smokey nj. I like his chances there. There's strong hard work by all
the candidates and so it feels like the Iowa race is still very undecided.

I'm picture cold, snowy, blowing fields and brave Democrats crowding cafes and living rooms for John Edwards.

10. Yes! It's lookin' good today, no question. There remain a few hectoring
ninnies who seem incapable of praise -- or even acknowledgement -- but I had some extra hours this weekend and am happy to announce that I've hired a team of thugs to beat the crap out of them!

Just kidding!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

ha ha ha ha... really! Only kidding!

I love your comment, "There's always something to celebrate with John."

There it is.
