Salon.com has rumor that Edwards to endorse Obama tonight
I still hope Edwards stays out. There always seems to be a new rumor.

1. I went to GDP and there is a poll for Edwards supporters
Since most of us rarely go there, thought I would let the rest of you know.

2. I hope he doesn't. But it is his choice. I will never support Obama no matter who else does.

3. I hope he doesn't endorse...
Neither of the current candidates really represent what JRE stands for. I hope that he just stays out of the mix...

6. Me too. Neither of the candidates are concerned for working
and poor people the way John was. And that he waited until the winner was fairly clear, that's disappointing, too.

I've just felt like a spectator in all of this ever since he dropped out. This won't change that.

8. Maybe Obama promised a cabinet -level position to fight poverty
I hope it's something like that. I really hope it's for a good reason.

11. I'm happy about the endorsement.
I don't have the hatred for Obama that has been so often exhibited here since John left the race.

14. I'm not sure that's accurate.
Rocky worked tirelessly for John up to the end of the campaign.

And it's great to see you! bpale is good people as far as I'm concerned. We may disagree, but she has my respect.

17. No problem Rocky.
I remember how heart and soul you worked. You inspired me all through to the end of John's campaign.

I have respect for bpeale and all here as well. Some people I of course disagree with at times. Such is life.

We all have to figure out how to move forward in our own ways.

15. Not sure what you mean-
But I was phone banking for him in Ca, after going to Nevada many times and also Iowa. He dropped out of the race on Jan 30, and I was phone banking from an office in Sacramento on the night of the 29th until 8:30 pm. I made more than 2000 phone calls for that campaign, and I knocked on hundreds of doors.

I don't think it's fair to question my commitment to the Edwards campaign, and I'm truly sorry if you feel that way.

21. Sorry Rocky
You have hitched your future and occupation to "The Party", and it is in your interests to defend it, no matter how glaring their abandonment of it's CORE PRINCIPLES.

There are consequences for every action....this will blow up and perhaps we will reclaim our Party someday. If not, I will work for true POPULISTS and PROGRESSIVES, not some Corporatist fiction.

Still, I admire your former work for JRE.

18. And Duers are so important, not. And many more Edwards supporters left DU but you wouldn't have
noticed. Many will now reluctantly leave John but they will not abandon what they thought he represented.

20. Rocky, I'm glad you're happy. Unfortunately, I'm still gay
Obama's got a serious outreach to undertake and I don't think he'll do it. Too busy triangulating to retain his fellow homophobes in his base.
