anybody doing the "jam band" thing?
hey folks just stumbled on this forum. :hi:

I am in (what gets categorized as) a "jam band"
Anyone here played this 'circuit' so to speak?
Any useful advice, links etc.?

We've been practicing and playing for about a year.

We have lined up a few good festival appearances in the spring.

1. Advice?
You're having fun being on the "jam band" circuit and you want advice? ;)

Ok then, here ya go: You guys need better posters. http://www.phunclesam.com/Posters.html
and some audio clips on your website.

For all I know, you guys could be awesome or suck. If you suck, why should I give you advice?

Also, the band's name and the statement "Americana with a Ph factor" on the website is an obvious nod to Phish but Phish is glaringly omitted from the list of bands that Phuncle Sam pays tribute to. That little identity crisis should be addressed immediately.
Maybe you guys are beyond Phish? How would we know?

Sooo, since all I have work on is what exists at phunclesam.com, all I can say for now is that you could use a better website. :)
