A question about active pickups
After a long, long wait I finally got my Schecter Stiletto Exotic. Will the battery drain if I leave it plugged in at the guitar end, but unplugged at the other end? What about if I leave it plugged in to something that is turned off?

1. The jack in the guitar is what turns on the juice.
I hate active guitars for that reason (battery issues).

3. Personally, I would rather unplug than make a new hole...

The jack IS the switch.

I have only ever bought one active guitar (i loved the neck)... I gutted it and made it passive.

4. Yea, I just did a search on battery life

Installing a bypass would definitely be more trouble than it's worth.
