Should I take up Saxaphone again?
I used to play years ago but I dropped it when I went to college. I have been thinking about it alot lately? I loved some of the music! Swing and Latin jazz were the best! I used to play guitar too, not well though. Not nearly as good as I could play sax! That dropped off too with work and stuff. Just wondering out loud I guess.

1. In a word, YES.
If it's been on your mind lately, it's there for a reason. The world always needs more music, you know--and the sax is a wonderfully expressive instrument. Which variant of it do you prefer to play?

:hi:

2. I used to play alto sax.
But if I was to do it over again I would choose a tenor sax. It has a bit more ooomph! Add a metal mouthpiece for that "brassy' tone. It would take a while to get ambuchure (Is that how you spell it?) back in shape, but I am pretty confident that I can recall fingerings and get my sight reading skills back out of the woodshed.
(Gotta check my posts more frequently).

3. I have NO idea how to spell am-bah-sure!
But I LOVES me the sound of a tenor sax. (More importantly, GIRLS love it.) Here. Let me nudge you a little more...
