TCM Schedule for Tuesday, July 22nd: Star of the Month Rosalind Russell
Hey, we've got a special two-fer this time out. The Classic Film Group's unofficial patron Robert Montgomery appears in a number of the Rosalind Russell features, most notably in Night Must Fall (the good version, Matilda, not the remake. Prepare for chills!

Which you will no doubt need in parts of the States, given that it's July.

Yeah, yeah, I know people complain about the Victorian gowns and the absence of Colin Firth. The first is due to economy at the studio (recycling wardrobes from previous films) and the second due to the timing of birth. Enjoy it anyway, and besides, Edna May Oliver rules!

1. 'Night Must Fall' and 'The Velvet Touch' are a great line-up
I have really been enjoying Tuesdays, because of Rosalind Russell films! 'Night Must Fall' is one of my favorite thrillers. I haven't seen 'The Velvet Touch' but will be looking forward to enjoying it tomorrow night!

Unfortunately the VCR isn't in the greatest of shape, and I haven't got TiVo or a DVR. So I'll likely miss a lot of the rarities running in the middle of the night. But...there's always asking for a reminder for next time.
