1. I liked Cronyn in "People Will Talk."

Too bad it's not on tonight's schedule!

Not to be confused with The Talk of the Town(also worth checking out), People Will Talk was an adaptation of the comedy Dr. Praetorius by Curt Goetz (described by my German professor as "the German Noel Coward"). Cronyn plays a real sourball who pursues his open-minded colleague Cary Grant when a scandal erupts at the university.

Another one I wish they'd show is The Seventh Cross, which I believe was the first on-screen pairing of Cronyn and real-life spouse Jessica Tandy.

2. People Will Talk is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again.
And I agree, Hume Cronyn is great in it.
